Our Story

Vanilla was founded by Will Keller, an ex-mountain bike salesman turned-CPA who looked around and decided that most accounting firms weren’t doing a very good job for small companies. The slowness, the confusing array of services, the ivory tower attitude. Will figured he could do better, so he started Vanilla.

Instead of following the status quo, Will decided to offer a limited range of services, straightforward advice, and quicker execution than the big firms. In addition, he followed his ideals and founded Vanilla as a co-op, dedicated to a business philosophy that emphasizes openness and social responsibility. We hope you’ll join us.
